Warmest Welcome
Greetings!
I am Alfred Chia, CEO of SingCapital Pte Ltd.
A very warm welcome (Thank you) for visiting my website! This is the site where you can learn about Financial Planning.
As I have been serving in the Financial Advisory Industry for more than 25 years and served thousands of clients, I would like to share my knowledge and experience.
Through the years, I continuously learn by reading, attending courses and practical application. There are many books which carry valuable information. However, there are few which cater to Singapore unique financial landscape. I decided to contribute my knowledge and experience by publishing books which is related to Singapore financial system.
I started my book publication journey in 2011 by publishing my first book, ‘Mortgage and Grow Rich’. This is a book on Financial Planning with focus on Mortgage Planning for Singapore Property Owners and Investors. It was also the first of such book published in Singapore.
I was very encouraged by the good feedbacks that I started to work on my second book.
Furthermore, the property market was very buoyant then which lead to Government introducing series of property cooling measures. There are new considerations when it comes to property purchase which impact the entire financial planning process.
I launched my second book on the year when Total Debt Servicing Ratio (TDSR) Framework was introduced. I did a special chapter to summarise all the Property Cooling Measures with TDSR.
My second book is ‘Grow Rich Singapore Style’.
As a financial consultant, I feel the need for us to share our method and understanding of the financial and wealth planning process with the ordinary Singaporean. This method and understanding is not just a by-product of a sound theory, but one that is grounded in reality and first-hand experience. And more than just financial and wealth planning, I feel the need for us to share the success of everyday Singaporeans so that the rest of Singapore can understand that building a nest egg on this island city of ours is not just possible, but a reality.
With these objectives in mind, Grow Rich, Singapore Style is written entirely with the Singaporean reader in mind. This is also another first of such book launched for the Singapore market.
Then in 2016, I gathered 3 friends from distinct fields to publish a book about death, and how death is an event that should be talked about, and actively planned for.
The book, entitled “Last Wishes: Financial Planning, Will Planning and Funeral Planning in Singapore”, covers everything one needs to know in order to plan for one’s own death during the course of his or her lifetime.
The book, which is a joint effort by a financial planner, a lawyer and two funeral directors, provide a low-down on how one should proceed to grow one’s assets during his or her lifetime, how to plan for its distribution when one is gone, and why and how one should arrange for his or her own funeral when one is very much alive and kicking.
Through all these sharing, I hope to empower you on your journey towards financial independence.
Keep in touch!
Your Partner in Financial Independence,
Alfred Chia
